Last season chapter 3 season 2, was the expected end of IO because we think we saw doctor Slone die. But then at the end we saw a shadowy figure of maybe a new leader of IO. The reason I think IO is still around is because then there would be no more solo, duo, trio, squad, no build, or arena. Because after IO was gone the seven are going to stop all infinite repeating loops of battles.
